Consign Your Collectibles

The Museum of Indian Arts & Culture’s annual Collectors’ Sale is a sister event to Native Treasures, a benefit for the museum, and an opportunity for you to easily consign, or better yet, donate, your Native American art.

Now is the time to look through your house and, perhaps, jewelry box to consider, which of your old and/or contemporary Native American pottery, jewelry, textiles, paintings, baskets, and carvings you may be willing to part with to make room for new treasures! We hope you will choose to participate as a consignor/donor and attendee this year.

The Collectors’ Sale will be well publicized and open to the public. This event occurs the same weekend as the Museum Hill Partners’ Community Day, and like last year we expect a large contingent of locals and visitors from afar.

To participate as a consignor, you set your own selling price. The following are options regarding the sale of your pieces:

  1. Donate your pieces in full as a tax-deductible donation
  2. Consign your item(s) and receive 60% of the proceeds, MIAC receives 40%

This excellent opportunity benefits the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture and you as a collector. As with all funds raised by Native Treasures, the proceeds from this benefit sale will be used for exhibitions and education programs at the museum. Over the five years that Collectors’ Sale has been held, more than $158,000 has been raised for the museum.

Thank you for your consideration in participating in the Native Treasures Collectors’ Sale.
