Jerry Ingram (Choctaw/Cherokee)

About the Artist

After a 20-year career in commercial art, Jerry is an award-winning beader and quill-worker. Inspired by the work of the Plains and Plateau Indians in the mid to late 1800's, Jerry's aim is authenticity and detail, using tradtitional methods and materials that were available in that time period. An alumni of IAIA, he has gone back occasionally to teach beading classes there.
